The company’s assets are primarily managed through long-term direct or indirect ownership in companies with strong, growth-oriented market positions. The largest assets are found in Capella Invest’s wholly owned subsidiaries, located in Sweden, Switzerland, France, and Spain.
To ensure professional management of these assets, Capella Invest has entrusted its wholly owned Swiss subsidiary, Swiss Nordic, with handling both administration and finance. Swiss Nordic is responsible for capital management and shareholder governance, with a focus on achieving both short-term and long-term strategic objectives.
Capella Invest holds the overarching responsibility for the long-term and strategic decisions regarding the management of capital and the development of the ownership role within the various holdings. The primary responsibility is to manage and grow the company’s assets over time, aiming to create gradual value appreciation in the ongoing investments.
Furthermore, Capella Invest is responsible for ensuring that the right individuals are appointed to the boards and other key positions that oversee the operations. The management also includes liquid assets and those assets that are currently not invested in long-term holdings. Operational decisions within each company are made by the respective board, while Capella Invest focuses on overarching matters related to the company’s assets, their composition, and the development of the ownership approach for each individual holding.
